oooh its cold
The trails seem the most sensible place to ride at the moment, it's so cold, the trees protect you from the elements a little at least. The tracks are a miserable place to be at the moment. It was so cold on saturday riding wasn't much fun, we got some good digging done though, we are changing some of the lines into bigger sets. My fingers still felt like they were gonna fall off digging with gloves on!
Yesterday we hit up a different spot over in suffolk with the hardcore hobbies crew. They have a good set up over there, some real fun trails and an small MTB freeride area, all legit on FC land. We rode till it got too dark, there was some real nice lips you could boost off, a few good transfers and a bigger line where jonny was unleashing tables and 360s. Too rad! Thanks to the local guys for letting us ride, it was a good day.The first Euro round is coming up in St Ettienne soon, looking forward to that, it's an indoor race so no worries about bad weather there. I'm heading out with the team for a few days before the race to ride a couple of tracks including Montelimar which is awesome.

Chicksands Jam
Went to chicksands last weekend on the DMR for their annual jam. It was the first one I'd been to, what a fun day. Chicksands has 3 lines of dirt jumps - a small 8 pack, a medium 6 pack and a bigger 6 pack - and each one was being sessioned by pro's and weekend warriors alike, all day. BMX and Mountain bikers sessioned together with Matt Priest's 1hand 1 foot 360's and 720's, and Bob's crazy lookbacks and flip whips being the highlight for me! I don't mention the gym much cause lets face it, it's not very exciting to talk about. I have to have a moan today though, I am getting so fed up with lazy people lately.... this guy today left two bar bells with weights on, a half drank cup of water and a bunch of sweaty paper towels on the floor and last week some guy walked off leaving 6 plates on either side of the squat rack. Grrr.
